나는 올해 스무 살이 되며, 10대를 지나 20대의 시작을 맞이한 감정을 작품에 담아냈습니다.
내 그림에서 자주 등장하는 엘리베이터 버튼의 형태를 활용해 과거, 현재, 그리고 미래를 표현했습니다.
동그란 엘리베이터 버튼 안에는 내가 좋아하는 것들, 다녔던 학교, 눈으로 담았던 풍경,
싫어했던 것들, 자격증 및 공모전에서의 성과, 사랑하는 가족, 소속된 미술교육원,
그리고 진학 예정인 행복학교(전공과)와 미래의 직업까지 다양한 이야기를 담았습니다.
작품의 배경에는 시간의 흐름을 상징하는 시계를 배치하여,
나의 성장이 시간 속에서 이루어진다는 점을 표현했습니다.
또한, 버튼의 순서를 숫자로 매기고, 시각장애인도 작품의 의미를 이해할 수 있도록
점자와 질감을 더해 촉각적으로도 소통할 수 있도록 했습니다.
이 작품은 발달장애인 예술작가로서 꿈을 시작하는 나의 스무 살 이야기입니다.
과거의 기억과 현재의 성장을 바탕으로, 앞으로 펼쳐질 미래를 향한 기대와 응원을 담았습니다.
My Twenties, A New Beginning

As I turn twenty this year, I have captured the emotions of leaving my teenage years behind and stepping into a new decade in this artwork.
I incorporated the familiar shape of an elevator button, a recurring element in my work, to represent the past, present, and future.
Inside each circular button, I have embedded different aspects of my life—things I love, the schools I attended, the landscapes I have seen, things I disliked, my achievements in certifications and competitions, my beloved family, the art institute I belong to, as well as my future studies at Haengbok School (Specialized Program) and my envisioned career.
To symbolize the passage of time, I placed a clock in the background, illustrating how my growth unfolds within time itself.
Additionally, I numbered the buttons and incorporated braille and textures, allowing visually impaired individuals to engage with and understand the meaning of my work through touch.
This piece tells the story of my twentieth year—the beginning of my journey as an artist with a developmental disability.
It reflects my memories of the past and my growth in the present, while carrying my hopes and aspirations for the future.
